Kelsa Thames, LCSW, Campus Director, Dickerson Place Campus
Kelsa Thames joined the BCV in 2024 as Campus Director for the Dickerson Place Campus. Kelsa holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Delta State University and a Master’s in Social Work from The University of Southern Mississippi. She has extensive experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health treatment and also has experience as a medical social worker. Kelsa is licensed by The Mississippi State Board of Examiners for Social Workers and Marriage & Family Therapists. With a strong background in trauma-informed care, Kelsa is certified in TF-CBT, which supports children who have experienced trauma, and she is also trained to utilize Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR). Kelsa lives in Brookhaven with her husband Logan and daughter Lynnlee, and they are active members of Easthaven Baptist Church, where she serves as a small group leader for youth girls. Kelsa believes that God has called her to BCV and is grateful for the opportunity to minister to at-risk children and their families.
