Lakeisha Broyles, Family Interventionist, Southern Region

Broyles has a master’s degree in Psychology and began her ministry at The Baptist Children’s Village in November 2018. She worked for 10 years helping at-risk children before coming to The BCV. When asked about her calling to The Baptist Children’s Village ministry, LaKeisha stated, “I have a passion for working with children and families. I love that I am able to talk about Jesus Christ to others here at the BCV. My previous jobs had restrictions about talking about Christ which was hard for me because Christ is the head of my life. I love empowering children and families and giving them hope.”

LaKeisha and her family are active members of House of the Lord Full-Gospel Baptist Church where her husband, Cornell, serves as executive pastor and she works in the youth ministry. She and her husband have two sons and are currently helping to raise her two nephews. LaKeisha makes her family and her church her priority. In her spare time, she enjoys scrapbooking and writing poems. Her favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11.
