Residential Family Program

The Residential Family Program provides comprehensive support services based on Christian values to single mothers and their children during times of crisis.  A Christ-centered group-living setting is provided with resident staff supervision who assist them with transition into independent living.  Staff model appropriate living skills to help create a healing and healthy environment conductive to growth for the mother and her family as she works toward self-sufficiency.

Some of the services provided for mothers include:

  • Career development
  • Budgeting and financial planning
  • Parenting classes
  • Christian counseling
  • Mentorship with local women in the community
  • Assistance with physical needs such as food and clothing
  • Support and guidance from residential staff living in the home with them

Eligible Mothers:

  • The mother is a single or divorced woman with children (we cannot accept families with boys over twelve).
  • The mother is facing challenges meeting the needs of her children
  • The mother or children are not known drug or alcohol abusers, (must be clean for at least a year).
  • The mother is either employed or willing to gain employment.
  • The mother is motivated to become independent and willing to work with Residential Family Program staff toward personal and financial goals.
