The Residential Family Program provides comprehensive support services based on Christian values to single mothers and their children during times of crisis. A Christ-centered group-living setting is provided with resident staff supervision who assist them with transition into independent living. Staff model appropriate living skills to help create a healing and healthy environment conductive to growth for the mother and her family as she works toward self-sufficiency.
Some of the services provided for mothers include:
- Career development
- Budgeting and financial planning
- Parenting classes
- Christian counseling
- Mentorship with local women in the community
- Assistance with physical needs such as food and clothing
- Support and guidance from residential staff living in the home with them
Eligible Mothers:
- The mother is a single or divorced woman with children (we cannot accept families with boys over twelve).
- The mother is facing challenges meeting the needs of her children
- The mother or children are not known drug or alcohol abusers, (must be clean for at least a year).
- The mother is either employed or willing to gain employment.
- The mother is motivated to become independent and willing to work with Residential Family Program staff toward personal and financial goals.
