The In-Home Family Support Program is designed to aid families that are near the point of collapse. The Baptist Children's Village In-Home Family Support Program helps families create homes that are safe and stable for children. Program staff help families reach these goals by providing education and training in areas such as child-rearing and appropriate discipline, household budgeting and shopping, meal planning and preparation, and household safety and care. They assist families in obtaining community services such as healthcare, education, and childcare. By reaching the family's goals, the likelihood that the children of these families will be taken into state custody is greatly reduced.
