Sharon Rosamond, Director of Finance
Sharon Rosamond joined the staff of The Baptist Children’s Village in May of 1991. She attended Hinds Community College where she earned her Associates degree. She then continued her education at Louisiana State University, as well as, the University of Southern Mississippi, earning a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Statistics, and a Minor in Mathematics. Having a parent who joined the staff of The Baptist Children’s Village in 1967, Sharon had a connection with this ministry very early on in her childhood that continued into adulthood. Living on the Clinton campus for many years with her family, allowed for a unique learning experience and created many opportunities to minister to young people. This amplified her passion to be a part of the ministry and developed an understanding of God’s endless love and potential here. This ministry was not only a calling for her, but the hand of God bringing her life full circle preparing and enabling her for the purpose of helping make a difference in the lives of children and young people who benefit from the services offered by The Baptist Children’s Village.
